San Francisco, CA, May 09, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Cat Seto, a San Francisco based designer, author, and artist has announced the launch of her her latest stationery line, “Ferme à Papier” which debuts to retailers at the upcoming National Stationery Show later this month (May 19-22) in New York City.
Loosely translated as “Farm-to-Paper,” Cat describes her new work as “an illustrated collection going back to my roots in drawing/painting. It was inspired by my first trip to France this past fall, where I spent my time observing Parisian prepsters, eating supernatural food in open air markets, taking in the various art scenes and visiting biodynamic farms in the countryside. These experiences have all found their way into my work.”
The collection contains more than greeting cards, however. The 8x10 inch art prints and canvas art prints capture small, painted celebrations. There will be a variety of gifts and other unique products to come. In line with the collection’s missive, the cards are printed on environmentally friendly 100% PCW and chlorine free papers.
Cat, whose previous collections and wedding albums were offered in over 800 fine retail shops across North America, recently took time off from designing to co-author “Mom, Inc.” with Meg Ilasco (published by Chronicle Books). The book captures their experiences as entrepreneurs and mothers as well as including interviews with 17 other designing women.
