AMF Bowling Launches New and Improved Summer Unplugged and AMF Summer Pass Programs

AMF Bowling is proud to announce new and improved Summer Unplugged and AMF Summer Pass programs featuring a membership card. No coupons, vouchers or printouts necessary.

Mechanicsville, VA, May 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- AMF Bowling Centers Inc., (AMF) is proud to announce the launch of the new and improved Summer Unplugged and AMF Summer Pass programs for 2013. The programs have been simplified to provide easier access to the bowling games: two free games for each child ages 15 and under registered in the Summer Unplugged program, and two games a day to the owner plus three guests ages 16 and over for each paid AMF Summer Pass. Previously, coupons were required to redeem all bowling games. With the launch of the new program, all members will receive membership IDs and membership cards, much like loyalty cards, with which they can redeem their bowling games.

Both the Summer Unplugged and AMF Summer Pass programs begin May 13, 2013 and run through September 2, 2013. Members can redeem their bowling games every day from open until 8pm using their membership pass, member ID, first name or other unique identifier. Other program perks include the stay and play option, where members can add additional games for just $1.49. The Summer Unplugged program is available to all children ages 15 and under, up to 6 children per family. The AMF Summer Pass program is available to adults ages 16 and up, and up to four adults can use one pass. The membership cards replace the coupons previously needed to redeem bowling games.

Says program director Kim Bonesteel, “The goal is to simplify the process. Before, customers had to remember to print out their coupons and bring them into the center. We had problems with customers who didn’t get their emails or who forgot their coupons. This way, there are no coupons to remember and no emails to get lost in their inboxes. Just come in, hand them your membership card or tell them your name, and you’re ready to bowl!”
