"Recording Your Story" Workshop at Convention Will Help Preserve Voices of Gay Seniors

Columbus, OH, May 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Digital Gryphon LLC announces the first confirmed convention workshop at this year's Prime Timers World Wide Convention will be “Memoirs: Recording Your Story.” Aimed at helping preserve the stories of gay men over the age of 50, the workshop will include information on preparing personal memoirs as eBooks, blogs and physical books & magazines.

Prime Times World Wide is the leading social organization for older gay or bisexual men and their admirers with over 75 chapters world-wide. Their biannual convention will bring hundreds of members and friends to Columbus, Ohio the first weekend of October, 2013.

Brian Gryphon, Workshop Facilitator noted that “most Prime Timers ‘came of age’ before there was wide-spread acceptance of ‘gay rights.’ At the same time, many ‘came out’ just before or during the onslaught of the aids crisis.” Mr Gryphon also said, “While we all hope progress continues toward expanding rights and acceptance, it is important that new generations understand their history.”
