London Borough of Bexley – Delivering a Customer Focused,"Top Task" Award Winning Website

GOSS Interactive congratulates the London Borough of Bexley for receiving 3 stars in the Socitm Better Connected 2013 report.

Plymouth, United Kingdom, May 11, 2013 --( Socitm, the Society of IT Managers in the public sector, publish the annual Better Connected 2013 report into the usability and performance of 433 local authority websites. The best performing sites, like the London Borough of Bexley, have taken a top task approach which highlights the most requested items and reduces the number of menus, making the site easier to use.

The London Borough of Bexley, who has it’s website powered by GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management), was commended by the reviewers for it’s overall top task approach.

The reviewers particularly mentioned specific elements such as reserving a library book: “Good explanation and easy to use catalogue” and for applying for housing as “Easy to find and comprehensive guidance with link to BexleyHomechoice.”

The reviewers also highlighted the ability for residents to have an old bed collected, “Done well. Easy to find, clear information.” And pay a parking fine, “Payment route is easy and straightforward.”
