Cathy Purple Cherry Receives “Service Above Self” Award from Parole Rotary Club

Annapolis, MD, May 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cathy Purple Cherry has been awarded the Service Above Self Community Service Award from the Parole Rotary Club in Annapolis, MD. Rotary is an international organization of business and professional leaders united through a shared commitment to humanitarian service. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today’s most critical issues –children at risk, health and hunger, water and literacy. Mrs. Cherry was selected because of the significant contributions she has made towards improving the lives of special needs children and adults in the community. Cathy Cherry stated, “I am a woman of faith who knows no other way to live than to give back to the special needs community and advocate for those that cannot always speak for themselves.”
