)-- Today, Cleanicity LLC, the leading manufacturer of pet products inspired by clean freaks, announced it is launching a campaign with Indiegogo, the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects, to fund the development of a stylish base for its award-winning product, the Stikitty.
“By combining the new Stikitty Base with the existing Stikitty Refill, we are creating one of the world’s most innovative cat litter mat systems on the market today—one that is effective at stopping cat litter tracking and stylish at the same time,” explained Carol O’Brien, the CEO of Cleanicity LLC. “Cat owners love how our Stikitty works; now they will love how it looks, too.”
According to the Indiegogo campaign page, the Stikitty is Ms. O’Brien’s quest to bring the world's cats and their humans an innovative, effective, and stylish fix to cat litter mess. The Stikitty is a multi-layer, tacky cat litter mat that is made from similar technology as is found in industrial and commercial cleanroom mats. The company is creating the Stikitty Base to improve the function and the aesthetics of the sticky mat. The sticky mat will slide into and non-permanently adhere to the base. The company will also be offering a subscription service so consumers can receive the sticky mat refill on a 2- or 3-month basis.
Cleanicity has been selling its tacky cat litter mat, the Stikitty, since 2011. The new base in the latest designer colors and patterns is expected to be available to backers of the campaign starting in December, 2013.
