The best performing sites, like Broxtowe Borough Council, have taken a customer-led design approach that “simplifies, de-clutters, reduces the number of menus, and make things easier to use.”
Broxtowe Borough Council, who have their websites powered by GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management), were mentioned by the reviewers for their overall approach to providing a top task PC and mobile website.
The reviewers praised the provision of many services on the website such as the provision of top tasks, “I thought the A-Z was well populated and certainly worked well during this review,” objecting to a planning application, “The page which describes how to comment is very useful,” and about local swimming pools, “the information was really good and easy to find.
