Los Angeles, CA, May 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Asian Pacific Women’s Center Holds Eleventh Annual Metamorphosis Gala at the Disney Concert Hall on May 22, 2013 at 6pm
Honoring US Bank, Change A Life Foundation, and Jin Kim
Asian Pacific Women’s Center (APWC), located in Los Angeles, California, presents its 11th Annual Metamorphosis Gala at Walt Disney Concert Hall on May 22, 2013 from 6 – 9 p.m. Open to the public, ticket sales are available at www.apwcla.org. The APWC Metamorphosis Gala is the primary fundraising event for APWC, a nonprofit agency and shelter serving women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Honorees for this year include U.S. Bank, Outstanding Corporate Partner; Change A Life Foundation, Outstanding Community Partner; and Jin Kim, Outstanding Volunteer; with Chinese-American singer-songwriter Jane Lui as the featured performer.
"APWC is extremely grateful of the donations to help continue its mission. The continued dedication and hard work have created long-lasting results!" stated M. Donna Uy-Barreta, Board Treasurer and Gala Co-Chair. Each of them has demonstrated their whole-hearted commitment to improving our community and brought real impact to those affected by domestic violence.
APWC provides multi-cultural and multi-lingual support for families of all races and backgrounds who are survivors of domestic violence. "APWC is excited to honor the Honorable Jackie Lacey at our 11th annual Metamorphosis Gala. We look forward to celebrate with our many supporters once again and our 100% domestic violence free track record in the lives our clients," stated Caroline Choe, Board President. “The Metamorphosis Gala is a time for us to celebrate our clients and all they have accomplished. We are extremely excited to be able to share this time with our supporters,” stated Syndi Hoa Driscoll, Board member for APWC.
