Guardian Watch™ Exhibits at TAG Sponsored Public Safety Conference & Expo

Atlanta, GA, May 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Guardian Watch™, a Georgia-based technology company, exhibited at the TAG Government Technology Public Safety Conference and Expo held at the Gwinnett Center on May 21. Speakers and participants discussed Georgia’s Public Safety initiatives and the impact technology will have on future initiatives.

Common themes throughout the program focused on the idea of convergence and the increasing value of technology. Recent tragedies and disasters provided relevant examples of the need for agencies across the state and country to collaborate. In order to streamline collaboration, focus must be placed on technology systems and platforms that can assist public safety in serving its communities.

Public safety speakers include Casey Cagle, Lietenant Governor, State of Georga; Terry Hall, President, APCO International; Charley English, Director, Georgia Emergency Management Agency; Chief George Turner, Chief of Police, City of Atlanta; Chief Kelvin Cochran, Fire Chief, City of Atlanta; among others.
“We designed our multi-platform application to not only empower citizens to be more active in their own personal safety but to also assist public safety,” comments Dr. Gordon Jones, CEO, Guardian Watch™. “Guardian Watch™ is a perfect example of how technology can seamlessly integrate with public safety initiatives to better serve the greater community.”
