Austin, TX, May 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Paralarc Announces Additional Features For Battle Moon 2075.

Paralarc Delays Release, Cites Expanded Plans.

Paralarc Entertainment, a relatively new mobile gaming company in Austin, Texas, has been quiet about its upcoming game, Battle Moon 2075. The game was supposed to be released this month, but Paralarc now plans to release in December, following a broad expansion of the game's capabilities. Although there is a working form of the game in existence (according to the Kickstarter project), Paralarc feels that players will be more interested in a series of similar games. The original trailer is available on Youtube and Vimeo.

A Paralarc programmer, who requested to remain anonymous, outlined some of the reasons that the game has not yet been released on Google Play.

"I have been authorized to release some information regarding the progress of Battle Moon 2075, as well as plans for additional Paralarc games. Paralarc is planning a broad series of games, playable on phones as well as desktops via the Java Runtime Environment. To make this happen, we need to spend some more time on the platform itself. There's a lot that goes into making those extra features work."

Battle Moon 2075 Features Multiplayer Combat

Paralarc's plans Battle Moon 2075 have apparently been expanded. What was originally outlined as a simple space shooter will now be the first in a series of games which will feature "multiplayer capabilities." It is not clear what the extent of these multiplayer capabilities will be, or how they will be implemented. There was no comment regarding an expanded story or a 3D version of the game.

Additional Platforms And December Release Date

Paralarc's games following Battle Moon 2075 will now be available for iOS, and most likely as a Java program, which could be run on desktop operating systems, and/or in web browsers.

Paralarc continues, "There is a dark side to this exciting announcement, however." The official release of Battle Moon 2075 has been moved to December 2013, in time for the holiday season. "Although this will surely disappoint some Android gaming fans, we believe that the majority will be happy to receive a much improved and anticipated game, especially as a free android stocking stuffer."

So, in addition to playing Paralarc games on a user's Android device, players may "pilot the moon" onto the desktop, across the browser, and perhaps even onto an iPhone.

Get Ready For A Holiday Release

Following Battle Moon's release in December 2013, there will be "announcement of plans for Battle Moon's successor," the second in a series of games to be "released about every three to six months" on Google Play. Paralarc indicates that there are "written plans for three games, although there could be as many as five in the works."
