Big House Publishing Band, The Hoot Hoots, on Tour to Fans & Industry Alike

Big House Publishing band, The Hoot Hoots, is proving to be a heavyweight among DIY bands by making huge waves while on tour.

New York, NY, May 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Hoot Hoots, Seattle’s hottest fuzzy-pop band are on tour, playing nearly every single day over 21 dates, including recording live on radio along the way. Having “Album of the Month” accolades in Seattle Sound and Seattle Met, and a “Top 5 DIY Bands To Watch” listing, the band didn’t sit on its laurels, but hit the road on fire for more. "Our Midwest-West Coast tour has been fantastic. Chris (Prairie, my brother) and I grew up in the Midwest, and we all went to college in Illinois, so it was definitely a blast coming back. We had sold out or near sold out shows in Cedar Falls, IA and Chicago, so we can't wait to go back,” exclaims Adam Prairie, lead singer.

The band, recently signed to Big House Publishing, is an incredible example of a DIY band that knows the value of performing, building their name, and keeping their fans happy one venue at a time. At the same time, this savvy band worked with its new publisher to uncover the most licensable of their ultra-creative titles – carefully planning all means of exposure – and signed a cherry-picked selection to BHP. The fans, the music supervisors, and the press are indeed noticing.
