Raleigh, NC, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Help One Now is partnering with author Jeff Goins to host a writing conference that will challenge people to stop resisting and to start becoming the writers they want to be. The event will be on Saturday, August 17th, to benefit Help One Now and their anti-trafficking work in Haiti. This event will include one brief break between sessions and a networking lunch following the second session.
Jeff Goins published “You are a Writer, so start acting like one” in 2012 to challenge people to quit making excuses and to start actually writing. His newest book “Wrecked: When a broken world slams into your comfortable life” dares its readers to look reflexively at the lives they are living. Called “Help One Now Presents: Wrecked Raleigh,” Goin’s two-part session will be focused towards writers and bloggers. His sessions are called “Starting from Scratch: How to Build a Powerful Platform With Words, Passion, and People” & “How Your Story Can Change The World.”
All the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Help One Now, a global non-profit-based in Raleigh, NC. Help One Now is a catalytic tribe committed to caring for orphans and vulnerable children by empowering and resourcing high-capacity local leaders in order to transform communities and break the cycle of extreme poverty. The organization works in Haiti, Zimbabwe, and Uganda to transform One Child, One Leader, One Community. Some of their work includes:
· Rescuing orphans who have been abandoned.
