Baldwin Park, FL Announces Independence Day Bash & First Friday Festival to be Held July 5, 2013

Orlando, FL, June 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Baldwin Park will host its annual Independence Day Bash on Friday July 5, 2013, along New Broad Street in Village Center beginning at 5:30pm. This year’s event also coincides with the monthly First Friday series hosted by the Baldwin Park Merchant’s Association, and the two events will be combined to create a large, family friendly festival culminating with a choreographed fireworks show over Lake Baldwin in Harbor Park after dark.

The event will include all of the fun that the Independence Day Bash has traditionally offered; a family area with a bounce house, face painting, interactive games and much more. Live entertainment will be provided by “Room 2” a Baldwin Park based rock group, and BradmasterJ Musiq will finish out the evening playing today’s hits and more. The First Friday theme of “Shop, Stroll, Sip” will also be incorporated with shopping, an art stroll area, and food & beer garden.

The Baldwin Park Joint Committee sponsors the Independence Day Bash annually, and this year’s additional sponsors include McKinley, Inc., as well as David Weekley Homes and C. Todd Smith Law Offices. The event is free to the public and is both family and pet-friendly.

The Baldwin Park Merchants Association sponsors the monthly First Friday series, and will be presenting the food & beer garden area of the Independence Day Bash. Merchant Association members include Caddy Shanks Virtual Golf and Sports Pub, Colibri Mexican Cuisine, Jack’s Steakhouse, In Style Hair Nails & Day Spa, Seito Sushi, and Victoria Jewelers.
