Ribbon Cutting and Champagne Toast to Celebrate Debut of Boutique Concert Company at McCoole’s Arts & Events Place

Quakertown, PA, June 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Parlor Concerts’ approach to presenting renowned artists at McCoole’s Arts & Events Place is proving to be much different from what concert-goers have come to expect. The company believes its greatest opportunities must come from more than just having Hall of Fame and Grammy-winning artists on stage. Tom Malm, a co-founder of Parlor Concerts, LLC says, “With 182 seats and a plan to host fewer than ten artists per month, we have an opportunity to deliver some special attention to our guests.” From the emails the company has been getting and the posts folks have put on Facebook, Malm feel confident the company’s direction is sound. The first show featuring, Blues Hall of Fame Legend and Grammy-winner John Hammond, includes a Champagne reception for the theater guests. Barefoot Bubbly is providing Champagne for the event.

Parlor Concerts’ mission to bring only nationally renowned performers to the theater in the McCoole’s complex is getting the attention of some significant national companies. With no seat beyond seven rows from the artist, and the back row closer than the front row in most large venues, Parlor Concerts provides a premium experience that is attractive to premium brands. The growing support will continue to improve the roster of artists possible and increase the value of the concert guest’s experience.

The idea behind the fledgling concert company was actually born with artists like John Hammond in mind. “I have been to John Hammond’s shows at festivals, in bars, and even in the Austin City Limits studio. His shows are always mesmerizing.” Malm says the theater in McCoole’s provides the perfect framing for the art presented by performers like John Hammond. “You can enjoy the power of their performance through any of the distractions in most environments. But this theater, being as close as every seat is, when the lights are dimmed you capture every nuance. It’s an amazing place to see a show.”

The John Hammond show is Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $35 with no additional service fees or add-ons. The ticket included participation in the Barefoot Bubbly Champagne Toast at 6:45 pm. For more information visit www.mccoolesconcerts.com, write tom@mccoolesconcerts, or phone 484-358-3868.
