Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Website Redesigned by Bayshore Selected for Kentico CMS Top 10 in May
Member Testimonials and Ways to Get Involved Emphasized in New Tampa Chamber Website
Tampa, FL, July 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Award winning, web design firm, Bayshore Solutions is proud to announce the The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce website redesign. The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce (Tampa Chamber) needed a modernized website to better showcase member testimonials and encourages growing connection and involvement with the organization.
A diversified not-for- profit business membership organization, The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, was formed to advance the general business community of the Tampa area. An accredited organization recognized by business, education, government and civic leaders, the Chamber was built around the belief in responsibility for the greater good of our community. Through strong volunteer leadership and unique partnership with cities and members, the Tampa Chamber has had a significant effect on the Tampa Business community for over 125 years.
Bayshore Solutions partnered with The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce to envision, design, develop and launch a brand new website that would show the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of the Tampa area. Functionally speaking, GTCC needed the ability to create and manage several microsites under one interface. Bayshore Solutions selected Kentico Software’s content management system to best facilitate the solution to the Chamber’s challenge. Another pivotal functional requirement was the ability to maintain both the events calendar and member testimonials in one place, but have interactive presentation of both throughout the various facets of the website.
The project caught the attention of Kentico Corporation as a flagship example of websites from over 1,200 of their partners in 80+ countries worldwide. Kentico selected the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Website redesign in their Showcase of the Kentico CMS Top 10 websites in May.
Bayshore Solutions implemented the Kentico, content management system as the backbone of the website allowing The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce to update their website with a great amount of flexibility, as well as the enable nearly instantaneous updates.
