Annapolis, MD, June 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cathy Purple Cherry, AIA, LEED AP, Principal and Owner of Purple Cherry Architects presented a workshop at the 2013 National AutismOne Conference held on May 23rd – 25th in Chicago, IL. Her presentation, “Spectrum of Possibilities – Decreasing Boundaries, Increasing Options” examines policies that will affect adults on the autism spectrum and others with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the federal and state legislation that needs to be amended in order to provide these adults with flexible funding, more residential options and opportunities for greater success and independence. Ms. Cherry said, “I am honored to have this opportunity to speak before the members of AutismOne. I hope the attendees found the discussion informative and will help them understand how they can make a difference in their state for their child.”
