South San Francisco, CA, August 25, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Founded by a mother, Jubily Boy, of two girls (ages 2.5 yrs old and 3 months), AMIES was created upon noticing a dire lack of age-appropriate merchandise available in the retail market for girls of all ages that reflect who they really are--young. When she heard the same complaints from fellow parents, she decided to leverage her skill as a graphic artist to create products that represent two of the most important facets of a girls’ life from conception through childhood—pure, innocent friendship and fun (without the adult edge, like Bratz and Barbie).
AMIES products from the flagship collection have been popular with parents as gifts to their children and/or their children’s friends. Because of the large number of dog lovers, AMIES products, similar to Paul Frank’s, are popular with adults, too, namely the wristlet and tote.
All AMIES products can be found at www.amiescircle.com. The site also features free fun games and downloadables for AMIES’ friends to enjoy with their pals.
This collection is inspired by the friendship and fun many girls first share with their pets, and especially, with the most beloved pet in the world--their dog. The AMIES dog characters are sweet, silly, loyal and mischievous with a one-of-a-kind disposition and unique personality that mirror their young owners and inspire them to love themselves for who they are, and encourage them to do what they love most: be young, have fun and make friends.
