)-- Every year the Central Executive Committee of World Parkinson's Program honors up to three outstanding individuals from all over the world who are committed to improving the quality of life of individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Tireless dedication and hard work of these individuals not only makes a difference in the quality of life of individuals with Parkinson’s disease but also helps caregivers to better cope with stress and ease the burden of taking care of their loved ones. By recognizing those individuals who inspire others, World Parkinson’s Program’s dedication for community service continues through the work of others.
