)-- Adam Smith’s Texas Harley-Davidson with the help of its customers raised funds for the Wounded Warriors Project® (WWP). WWP is a non-profit organization serving veterans and service members that have incurred a service related injury, illness, or wound on or after September 11, 2001. The mission of the WWP is to honor and empower wounded warriors. There are currently over 32,000 members of the WWP Alumni and 3,379 family members.
May was Military Appreciation Month for Adam Smith’s Texas Harley-Davidson and the growing Texas dealership included customers in their effort to raise month for a worthy cause. Texas Harley announced to the Dallas/ Fort Worth area that they would make a donation for every motorcycle purchased in the month of May and that additional donations could be made by individuals. With the help of current and new customers Texas Harley was able to raise $22,015 for the WWP.
“We are so proud to be part of such a giving community, with the help of our customers and friends we are able to donate a substantial amount of money to the WWP,” said Neil Noble, General Manager of Adam Smith’s Texas Harley-Davidson. “We can’t say thank you enough to the men and women who have sacrificed for our Country and our Freedom but this donation will help bring some comfort to our troops that have been injured in the line of duty.”
