Paris, KY, June 26, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Jane Heart is pleased to announce the introduction of her original, licensed jewelry designs of Ravel, America's most decorated Grand Prix Dressage horse. Ravel, an incredible dark bay Dutch Warmblood gelding, is a national and international champion who represented the United States in competition with his talented rider, Steffen Peters of San Diego, California. Twice an Olympic Team horse in 2008 and 2012, Ravel's accomplishments are many and are noted on the commemorative card that comes with each jewelry piece. Ravel and Steffen have ridden over forty Grand Prix victory laps together in their illustrious career and won the hearts of fans around the world from the Olympic Games in Beiijing to Aachen, Germany and received standing ovations for his magnificent performances. In addition to being the USEF Horse of the Year in 2009, in December 2012 Ravel was honored by being inducted into the Roemer Foundation/USDF Hall of Fame which is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Jane's sterling silver designs include two pendants and a stock pin/lapel pin. The Ravel circle pendant retails for $235.00, the profile pendant for $195.00 and the stock pin/lapel pin for $145.00. Each piece is made in the USA and is hand finished, hand polished, and stamped with Ravel on the back above the Jane Heart copyright logo. With the commemorative card, each piece comes with a blue pouch and gift box.
Owned by Akiko Yamazaki, who for her Ravel was a dream come true, she now rides him on the trails on her Four Winds Farm in California and takes lessons with Steffen. Ravel has become the ultimate schoolmaster and is thoroughly enjoying his new life and career.
A portion of all sales supports USDF Youth Programs which promotes and encourages a high standard of accomplishment in dressage. Jane Heart licensed Ravel jewelry designs are available online at www.janeheart.com. Retail locations will be announced at a later date.
Jane commented: "It is an honor to design jewelry for Ravel, who I was able to see perform at the Rolex FEI World Cup in Las Vegas in 2009. My first design 19 years ago was a dressage horse head and to capture Ravel in my jewelry is indeed a highlight of my career."
The name Ravel is used under license. All Ravel designs and photographs are copyright protected by Jane Heart LLC with any and all rights to publication reserved.
