Music from Final Fantasy VI by the New Age Artist Albedo

Salt Lake City, UT, June 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The New Age Artist Albedo will be releasing an album of music from Final Fantasy VI and is currently running a fundraising campaign on the Kickstarter website.

The New Age Artist Albedo will be releasing a new album that will be nothing but music from Final Fantasy VI. It will be arrangements of 18 songs from the video game, similar in style to Mannheim Steamroller and Yanni. A fundraising project for the album just barely got started on the Kickstarter website.

Kickstarter is a website where you can submit whatever project you're working on and people will donate in exchange for a reward. Usually a tangible object that has something to do with the project. A CD, T-shirt, etc. It's similar to a PBS pledge drive.

Final Fantasy is a role playing video game series that was originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1987. Final Fantasy VI is obviously the 6th game in the series and was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. The music was written by Nobuo Uematsu. Who is a big fan of another New Age Artist Chip Davis of Mannheim Steamroller. One doesn't necessarily have to play the games to enjoy the music.

The album will contain songs from the video game that all qualify as cover songs, including: Prelude, Battle Theme, Terra, Spinach Rag, Maria & Draco, and Dancing Mad.

The Kickstarter project will run until July 25th and will need at least $1800 to be funded. They are offering many great rewards for your donation of any level to the project. According to Albedo's website the album itself is scheduled to be released in October of 2013.
