Vaudeville Cafe Collects Canned Goods for Local Food Bank

Local business, Vaudeville Cafe collects canned goods for the Chattanooga Food Bank and offers free tickets to local patrons.

Chattanooga, TN, July 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Vaudeville Cafe in Chattanooga, TN will be kicking off a food drive beginning July 4th on Independence Day. Known for their Murder Mystery Dinner Shows and live Stand Up Comedy, the local Chattanooga business is encouraging people to bring in non perishable items to donate to the Chattanooga Food Bank in exchange for free adult admission to see a live stand up comedy show featuring comedians seen on Comedy Central, MTV, BET, and other TV specials. John Boyd, General Manager at Vaudeville Cafe says that this is one of many non profit drives that they will be kicking off this summer. “It is our hope to really give back to our local community.” Vaudeville Cafe has stand up comedy shows every Friday at 9:30 pm and Saturday at 10:30 pm. Mr. Boyd also says that the theater will give an additional 10% off Murder Mystery Dinner Show admission if patrons bring in canned items. He encourages people to check with the Chattanooga Food Bank to see the items most in need or call the Vaudeville Cafe box office for more information.

This weekend at Vaudeville Cafe they have three Murder Mystery Dinner Shows; Mystery of the Redneck Italian Wedding on Thursday at 7:00 pm, Mystery of the Nightmare Office Party on Friday at 7:00 pm, Mystery of Flight 138 Saturday at 5:30 pm, and the newest production, Mystery of the Facebook Fugitive on Saturday at 8:00 pm. Shows are family friendly and offer a wonderful Italian Buffet. Tickets range from $14.00-$26.50.

Stand up comedian, Tracy Smith will be the headliner for the weekend of July 5-6. 2013. Tracy’s television credits include Comedy Central Presents, Late Fridays on NBC, Premium Blend, and Best of the Fest on HBO Comedy and was selected by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the “Ten Comics to Watch.” Tracy will be at Vaudeville Cafe on Friday, July 5th at 9:30 pm and Saturday, July 6th at 10:30 pm.
