Santiago Ribeiro, surrealist artist from Coimbra, participates in the international exhibition organized by L'Agenzia di Art,

Coimbra, Portugal, July 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Santiago Ribeiro, surrealist artist from Coimbra, participates in the international exhibition organized by L'Agenzia di Art, opening on July 6th, 2013, at 4pm, at the Municipal Museum Santos Rocha, in Figueira da Foz

The exhibition includes the participation of artists from the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Russia, Australia, Brazil and Portugal, with works by Francisco Urbano, Carla Taveira, Victor Lages, Santiago Ribeiro among others.

l´agencia di art is composed of more than 700 contemporary artists, from various nationalities, using diverse artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital painting and video.

The exhibition from L'Agencia di Arte with love will be open until August 25th, 2013, and can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 6pm and on weekends from 2pm to 7pm at the Municipal Museum Santos Rocha in Figueira da Foz.

About Santiago Ribeiro

The Portuguese artist, born in Condeixa-a-Nova and living in Coimbra, has shown his artworks with great regularity, both in Portugal and in other European countries, including Lisbon, Paris, Belgrade, Madrid, Barcelona, Moscow , Warsaw, Florence, Podgorica, Montenegro, Timisoara in Romania and Dallas in Texas.

He is the driving force and the promoter of the international project "Surrealism Now", which started in 2010, organized by the Bissaya Barreto Foundation.

Recently, the "Surrealism Now" exhibition was held in Lisbon, as a result of a partnership with artist Victor Lages.

Santiago Ribeiro has publicized and promoted his work on the internet, through social networks and blogs, thereby having received numerous invitations to exhibit his art in various parts of the globe.

Founded in 1894 by António dos Santos Rocha, the Municipal Museum across various periods, given the action developed and museological criteria that governed their successive relocations in different physical spaces.
