Medical Professionals seeking advanced medical education will gather at the JW Marriott- LA Live in August for Gut, Brain, and Autoimmune Disorders course

Boca Raton, FL, July 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Symposium will provide attendees with the opportunity to understand the connections between food and disease manifestations. Another main focus will be GI and neurological disorders and other organ systems including the cardiovascular system.

Upon completion, participants of this course will understand the immunological differences between innate and specific immunity, the diagnostic and clinical tools applicable to common disorders and issues, and new areas of research will be reviewed. Dr. Fasano is a world-renowned pediatric gastroenterologist and research scientist. He founded the Center for Celiac Research, the first celiac center in the United States. The center offers state-of-the-art research, clinical expertise and education for patients of all ages for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gluten-related disorders.

Dr. Perlmutter is a board certified neurologist, Medical Director of Perlmutter Health Center, and Perlmutter Hyperbaric Center, as well as Adjunct Instructor at the Institute for Functional Medicine in Washington.
