BookBenefit.org Announces Launch of New Website

Website makes donations to non-profit organizations when users make book purchases at major on-line retailers.

Austin, TX, July 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The new website BookBenefit.org makes donations directly to non-profit organizations when users make book purchases at major on-line retailers. A self-professed “no-frills website,” BookBenefit.org does not require user registration and currently donates 5% of all purchases to the chosen non-profit organization.

Only non-profit organizations are eligible to sign up with BookBenefit.org, and the focus on books makes it an excellent fundraising vehicle for schools and universities. The donation percentage is 2-3 times higher than the industry standard (for example, GoodShop or OneCause).

The on-line retailers available through BookBenefit.org include Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Chegg, Kobo, and several others. A price comparison tool is also available.

Mr. Joseph Keith, head of non-profit engagement for BookBenefit.org, expects that “the new website will be an easy fundraising option for schools and other non-profit organizations. It literally takes one to two minutes to sign up. Even a moderately sized school or organization can expect several thousand dollars in annual donations from us.”

Non-profit organizations can visit http://www.BookBenefit.org/contact in order to sign up. Individual users can visit the main website to find a worthy recipient for the website’s donations.
