Harrison College Sponsors 2013 Education Conference at 43rd Annual Summer Celebration July 18

Corporate Partnership Division of Harrison College Supports Diversity with Sponsorship of Annual Summer Celebration in Downtown Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN, July 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Harrison College (http://www.harrison.edu/), an institution of higher learning with more than 5,000 students studying at 13 campuses and online, has announced that its corporate partnership division will sponsor the 43rd Annual Summer Celebration, an expo celebrating the accomplishments and achievements of African Americans in Indiana. Summer Celebration is hosted annually by Indiana Black Expo, Inc., an organization that has been a pillar of the Indianapolis and surrounding communities for nearly 40 years. The expo began on Thursday, July 11 and runs until Sunday, July 21.

Harrison College will serve as a Patron Level Sponsor for the Summer Celebration’s 2013 Education Conference, which will be held on Thursday, July 18 at the Indiana Convention Center, located in downtown Indianapolis. The Education Conference seeks to provide teachers, administrators and other educational professionals with resources, best practices and professional development training specifically tailored to cultural competence. Harrison College, a passionate supporter of embracing diversity and encouraging cultural awareness, will be included among the exhibitors at the event, connecting with attendees and supporting Indiana Black Expo, Inc.’s overall mission to be an effective voice for the social and economic advancement of African Americans.
