Comedian Louie Anderson Selects DJ Disco for Friday Gig

Las Vegas, NV, July 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- DJ Miguel aka DJ Disco and the Disco Diamond Dancers are one of the few selected acts of over 300 entertainers to open up for comedian Louie Anderson's new show at The Plaza Hotel and Casino. They are slated for July 19th at 7 pm in The Showroom.

"It's truly an honor to open for a legendary comic icon especially when entertainers from all over the country submitted for only a handful of openings," DJ Disco said.

Anderson picked the singing and dancing act for their upbeat, wholesome appeal to all ages. "We are excited to warm up the crowd. You'll be smiling and dancing," DJ Disco said.

Anderson will share his recent surgery adventures, his childhood and the challenge of working out for the first time in his life. His shows run Wednesdays though Saturdays.

Anderson was launched by Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show" in 1984. He has appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Comic Relief," as well as Showtime and HBO specials.

Anderson has guest-starred in numerous sitcoms, television dramas, and feature film roles in "Coming to America" opposite Eddie Murphy, the classic "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and most recently co-starred on the ABC prime time reality show SPLASH. In 1995 Anderson also created the Saturday morning award-winning animated series "Life with Louie."
