The Monmouth County Underdogs Announces Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue as a Donation Recipient

Neptune City, NJ, July 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Monmouth County Underdogs is proud to announce the selection of Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue as one of the rescue organizations that will receive a portion of funds raised at our upcoming event, “The Power of Positive Training with Victoria Stilwell.”

“The Power of Positive Training” is a two-day seminar hosted by the Monmouth County Underdogs, a registered 501(c)3, and The Inner Dog, LLC. The event is taking place on October 19-20, 2013 at Brookdale Community College. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to help local rescue organizations like Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue.

In order to be considered to be a recipient, the rescue group’s philosophy must align with The Monmouth County Underdogs' mission of enriching the lives of dogs by practicing positive, reward based training techniques as well as not discriminating against bully breeds.

Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue is a Monmouth County based group, which is run by just three women (all pit bull owners) who rely on the support of volunteer fosters and financial donations to help them save dogs and provide a lifetime commitment to each dog. They also only use and support positive reinforcement behavior trainers. The donation they receive will go towards providing the dogs they save with things such as veterinary care and training.

Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue is the first of the rescue organizations to be announced as a donation recipient from this event. As others are selected, that information will be made available.
