The Daily Planet Café Celebrates Military Appreciation Week with Customer Discount

Rocky Top Hospitality’s Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Joins North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Honoring Military Veterans and Families with Customer Discount Through July 27.

Raleigh, NC, July 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com), has announced that The Daily Planet Café will offer a 10 percent customer discount in recognition of military appreciation week, which will run Sunday, July 21 through Saturday, July 27. The customer appreciation celebration is planned in conjunction with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, which will offer members of the military a discounted ticket to the museum’s Dinosaur’s in Motion exhibit. In addition to the dinosaur exhibit, the museum will highlight unique plants and creatures that live in close proximity to our region’s military bases, including a one-of-a kind butterfly species that can be found nowhere else in the world except Fort Bragg.

Military visitors will be asked to show military identification and will pay a $6 entry fee into the special exhibit, which showcases 14 life-sized dinosaur sculptures that can be moved by visitors themselves. Additionally, they will receive a 15 percent discount on all museum store merchandise and $20 off the Friends of the Museum annual membership.
