July 27 Event Hosted by RE/MAX Premier Properties at Metropolitan Tower Offers an Unusual Combination of Music, Art and Real Estate

Chicago, IL, July 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- It will be an unusual evening blending music, art and Chicago real estate at Metropolitan Tower, 310 S. Michigan Ave., on the evening of July 27. The invitation-only party is co-hosted by RE/MAX Premier Properties, based in Chicago’s Gold Coast, and Premier Systems, a Chicago company that specializes in electronic and entertainment systems for residential and commercial settings. The evening will feature world-renowned audio innovator Peter Lyngdorf and Chicago lighting designer Jan Jander along with their work, while also spotlighting a remarkable residence currently offered for sale.

The festivities will take place in a duplex unit on the 26th and 27th floors, where guests will enjoy breathtaking wrap-around views of the entire downtown Chicago skyline, along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The currently unfinished interior offers 7,600 square feet of sensational space ready to be shaped into an unsurpassed urban residence. It is currently being marketed by RE/MAX Premier Properties broker Lissa Weinstein at an asking price of $3.69 million.

“We felt this was a new and different way to showcase what is really the only property of its type in Chicago and to highlight it by featuring the magnificent sound systems created by Peter Lyngdorf for Steinway Lyngdorf and the subtle lighting designs of Jan Jander,” said Weinstein.

Lyngdorf, who created the first fully digital amplifier and continues to set new standards for excellence in audio equipment design, is coming to Chicago for the event to personally demonstrate his Steinway Lyngdorf Model D Music System, renown for the precision of its audio reproduction. His visit marks the start of a new collaboration between Steinway Lyngdorf and Premier Systems.

Adding another special touch to the evening will be the lighting pieces crafted by Jander using such materials as concrete, aluminum, glass, teak and tin. A former film maker, Jander has a special love for working in concrete and each year produces a limited number of pieces, both lighting fixtures and furnishings, from that normally utilitarian material.
