Canada’s Mayhew is Ready to Deliver to One Lucky Ontario Company (Hint: It’s a Buoy)

Toronto, Canada, July 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The excitement over a new delivery makes people everywhere take notice, especially when the newly-delivered bundle of joy is already a celebrated award winner. That’s why Toronto’s Mayhew, a leader in collaborative, ingenious interior office designs, is holding a giveaway for one of its newest office furniture pieces, Steelcase’s Turnstone® Buoy stool.

Buoy, a Chicago Neocon 2013 Innovation Award winner, offers a new way to sit for employees in contemporary office workspaces. Boldly practical and wildly addictive, the curved stool wobbles, spins and encourages movement. No longer do people craving activity need to keep their tapping toes, moving legs or desire for continuous motion under control. With Buoy, their self-expression is encouraged through the ability to move from location to location, or simply on the seat itself, with ease.

“The sedentary worker has become a cliché,” says Maurice Benatar, V.P. Marketing and Business Development, Mayhew. “Buoy stimulates the minds and bodies of employees, especially younger ones who like to keep moving in order to boost their performance and output. It’s also excellent for progressive classrooms and educational spaces. At Mayhew, we see a multitude of uses for the Buoy product; in fact, we’re already recommending it to some of our clients.”

To celebrate Buoy’s entrance into the world of innovative office furnishings, Mayhew is going to give away two Buoy chairs. The company’s contest rules have been kept simple, and entries should take less than five minutes to complete:
Entrants should snap a photo of their most collaborative work area. (Mayhew is hoping for some really fun shots.)
2. Entrants should then “Like” Mayhew’s Facebook page (@MayhewIngenuity).
3. From there, entrants can post their collaborative workspace picture on Mayhew’s page.

Any office in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or southwestern Ontario region is encouraged to enter the Buoy contest by September 30, 2013.

A random drawing from entries will take place in October 2013, and the winner of the Buoy stool will be announced through Mayhew’s social media, website and press channels. Complete contest details can be found at Mayhew’s Facebook page, @MayhewIngenuity.
