Kollaboration Dallas 2013 Contestants Announced

Dallas, TX, July 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Kollaboration Dallas, the DFW Metroplex area’s premier talent competition showcasing emerging talents within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, announces its artists for this year’s show. The September 14th show will be the second in Kollaboration Dallas history and will be held at the Dallas City Performance Hall. The following six artists will be competing for the title of Kollaboration Dallas Champion and the opportunity to perform in Kollaboration Star in Los Angeles later this year: iCare, Mijee Park, Kassy Levels, Chaos Kidz, JO & YO and Elizabeth Zhang.

Guest performances include: 2012 Kollaboration Dallas winner Stciks, OPT Crew and June Marieezy.

The hosts of this year’s show will be entertainers Pure Reason.

Guest judges include: Angel Kim, Corey Jones and Christian Chavarria.

About Kollaboration

Kollaboration Dallas is an annual non-profit talent competition seeking to bring mainstream attention to Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) artistic talent. Kollaboration was created twelve years ago by Paul “PK” Kim in Los Angeles to expand representation of API in mainstream media and raise awareness of API issues. The Kollaboration movement has spread to 14 cities across North America and continues to rally students, businesses, community leaders, celebrities and performers across the API community together for the common cause of “Empowerment Through Entertainment.”

Kollaboration is a non-profit organization, completely run by volunteers, dedicated to the promotion of a strong Asian Pacific Islander presence in the entertainment and media industry.
