The Joneses refers not only to the family at the heart of the story but also to the insanity of keeping up—to illusions of perfection, prosperity and even happiness—inherit in modern Western culture.
Rojé Augustin is a native New Yorker, currently based in Sydney. She is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in literature and writing. She has had a number of articles published in B.E.T. Weekend Magazine, a former weekly insert in the New York Daily News. For more than a decade, she has worked as a television journalist, writer and producer for Good Morning America Weekend Edition with Diane Sawyer, 20/20 with Barbara Walters and John Stossel, CBS News Productions, The Tyra Banks Show and E! The Unraveling of Bebe Jones is her first novel.
