Building Envelope Training and Certification Courses Approved for 24 ASHI Continuing Education Credits

The Building Envelope Science Institute’s courses have been approved for 24 ASHI Continuing Education Credits (8 credits for BET-1 and 16 credits for BEC-2).

Gainesville, FL, August 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Building Envelope Science Institute will be offering Continuing Education Credits to members of ASHI who attend the institute’s Building Envelope Training and Certification Conference from October 20-23, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. The Conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando Airport and is open for registration now.

The BET-1 (Building Envelope Trained) course, which includes information on how the parts of the building envelope come together to form one cohesive unit, has been approved for 8 ASHI Continuing Education Credits (CECs). Additionally, the BEC-2 (Building Envelope Certified Inspector) course, a three-day course that includes BET-1, focuses on the methodology of performing inspections and assessments on residential and commercial buildings, and has been approved for 16 ASHI Continuing Education Credits. Combined, the two courses have been approved for 24 ASHI CECs.

BET-1 and BEC-2 are only the first two in a line-up of five courses devoted to teaching the inner workings of building envelope construction and remediation techniques.
