Bios:
Gregory Crosby used to be an art critic, but then thought better of it. His poetry has appeared in several journals, including Court Green, Epiphany, Copper Nickel, Leveler, Ping Pong, & Rattle. In 2002, as a poetry consultant to the City of Las Vegas, he was instrumental in the creation of the Lewis Avenue Poets Bridge, a public art project in downtown Las Vegas. His dedicatory poem for the project, “The Long Shot,” was subsequently reproduced in bronze and installed in the park, and was included in the 2008 anthology Literary Nevada: Writings from the Silver State (University of Nevada Press). He is co-editor of the online poetry journal Lyre Lyre, and is currently co-curator of the long-running EARSHOT reading series.
Sarah Sarai is the love child of a swimming pool and the Long Island Sound. Her poems are in Boston Review, Threepenny Review, POOL, Pank, Lyre Lyre, Ping Pong Journal (of the Henry Miller Memorial Library). They are in anthologies including Say It Loud: Poems About James Brown (Whirlwind) and Gathered: Contemporary Quaker Poets (Sundress); in her collection, The Future Is Happy (BlazeVOX), and the chapbooks I Feel Good (Beard of Bees) and Emily Dickinson’s Coconut Face (Dusie Kollektiv). Her fiction is in Fairy Tale Review, Tampa Review, Homestead Review, and more. She reviews for The Rumpus and Lambda Literary; is contributing editor at The Writing Disorder; blogs at My 3,000 Loving Arms.
