Atlanta Based Production Company Wraps Production on Feature Film

Bottom of the Net Filmworks has wrapped production on "Grapes on a Vine"

Atlanta, GA, September 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Bottom of the Net Filmworks has wrapped production of their latest feature film titled "Grapes on a Vine." The film stars Greg Alan Williams (Sopranos, Baywatch, Dirty Laundry) and Jazsmin Lewis (Three Can Play That Game, Barbershop 1 &2, Traci Townsend).

The script, written by Alfred Robbins, is from an outline written by Derrick Owens (Co-Author of "Seven Days: A Collection of Short Stories), is about a married couple who want to start a family but have been unable to due to the woman's inability to get pregnant. "Kyle" has an affair with his best friend's wife and a child is conceived. He plans a weekend camping trip to the mountains for the couples where he has hired someone to hang his wife and the husband of his mistress to make it look like a racially motivated murder which will allow him to raise his child with the mother and pocket $500,000 from an insurance policy. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned.

The film also co-stars Dwayne Boyd (The Gospel, Army Wives), Paula Rittie (The Devil's Diamond, Jada Who?), Nick Conti (Atlanta's Pro Actor's Studio) and Kaira Whitehead (Sombodies, The Devil's Diamond, One Missed Call).

This is the second feature film for Executive Producer, Sharlene Falls and Director, Alfred Robbins under the BOTN films label.

Their first film, The Devil's Diamond, along with Cinematographer, Derrick Owens, currently being distributed by Maverick Entertainment Group and is available at Blockbuster, Best Buy, Circuit City and Amazon.com.

According to a spokesperson, Bottom of the Net is set to produce its next feature film entitled "Selling Dreams" this winter. "Selling Dreams" is the story of a high powered Attorney who dreams of becoming a writer but faces stiff opposition from his high maitenance wife who feels that this career change will not afford her the lavish lifestyle that she has become accustomed to.
