)-- CellarStone Inc., a provider of sales commission and data integration solutions, today announced that its data integration tool, QXchange can be used to automate the process of updating data from FleetCor’s card processing system, MannatecTM to QuickBooks.
“Gasoline retail firms using FleetCor’s card processing system, Mannatec have to update the POS sales data into the accounting system for invoice generation. This task is routine and could take hours every week as the process is not automated,” said Gopi Mattel, CEO of CellarStone, Inc. “QXchange has a tried and tested process to automate this problem, saving time and effort for the retail firms.”
QXchange is a flexible and easy to use data integration solution that can quickly and easily transfer data between many standard data formats and applications like Excel, Text, MS Access, MS SQL Server, My SQL, QuickBooksTM, SalesforceTM, SAP Business OneTM, ODBC and others. The different data formats and application types are segregated from the core application and made into plug-and-play modular entities called Data Access Plug-ins (DAP). This architecture allows the easy addition of any additional DAPs to the system when required.
The Mannatec system has the capability to produce a transaction file named M-TranTM for use in other systems. QXchange uses this as the input and after making the required transformations, updates the data in QuickBooks. There were many challenges in getting the data integrated between the two systems. For example, the M-Tran file does not have a header and detail structure to directly map to the invoice header and detail structure available in QuickBooks. Also the Sales Tax records from the M-Tran had to be removed before updating, since the accounting system will automatically calculate sales taxes. The expertise of the QXchange team was invaluable in getting those problems identified and solved.
