William Peace University’s Justin G. Roy Joins Artspace 2013 Collectors Gala Committee

Vice President for Communications And Marketing to Serve on Committee for Local Nonprofit Fundraising Event Showcasing Visual Arts Nov. 23.

Roy, vice president for communications and marketing, has been named to the Artspace 2013 Collectors Gala Committee. The committee will organize and execute Artspace’s annual fundraiser, the Collectors Gala, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the organization’s studios at 201 E Davie St in Raleigh. Roy will assist in coordinating all details of the fundraising event, including the development of the event’s theme, sponsorship participation, live and silent auction collection, and volunteer recruitment.

Artspace is a nonprofit visual art center dedicated to providing arts education and community outreach programs, creating an environment for more than 100 professional artists and presenting nationally acclaimed exhibitions. Located in downtown Raleigh in the historic Sanders Ford building, Artspace has provided the community with the opportunity to interact with working artists and to participate in hands-on arts education since 1986.
