)-- The Global Supply Chain Leaders Group (GSCLG), which serves the senior leaders of supply chain management in business, government, and industry on a worldwide basis, is calling for nominations for the 2007 Supply Chain Excellency Award.
The award, which was created to honor CEOs who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of the Supply Chain Industry, will be presented on an annual basis to one or more individuals. The 2007 recipient will be awarded during the Annual Global Supply Chain Leaders Group Forum March 13 - 14, 2008, held in San Francisco, CA.
Nominations for the 2007 award are due to the GSCLG’s office by September 30, 2007, and must include the following items:
A letter introducing the nominee and explaining why he or she is proposed for the award. This document serves as the nominator's letter of reference.
The nominee's professional biography and/or resume describing nominee's education, employment, accomplishments and honors.
Any relevant supporting documents, including newspaper clippings, publications and articles related to the nomination.
After receipt of the nominations, the GSCLG Award Committee will review and select appropriate award recipients.
The recipient of the Supply Chain Excellency Award will be honored and a donation will be made to the charity of his/ her preference in their name.
Nominations should be submitted to nominations@GSCLG.com by September 30, 2007.
