Alaris inVoice v.3.3: Client Self-Service Portal and Extended Routing

Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, August 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Alaris Labs, developer of carrier-grade solutions, releases a new version of Alaris inVoice, a highly sophisticated billing and routing system. Key distinction of the new release is a fully featured Client Self-Service Portal, a platform which carriers may provide to their partners for performing certain unassisted operations, such as establishing connection to their networks, handling payments, or monitoring financial data and statistics. Other newly added features of v.3.3 include enhanced invoicing and routing capabilities.

Modified Client Portal revolutionizes interaction between operators and their partners. Now clients can receive access to such independently operated procedures as registration, POI addition, selection of a service package and acquiring information on effective rates. In consistency with previous versions detailed statistics on transmitted traffic is also available to clients and may be easily exported to Excel. Possibility to make payments by credit card or via PayPal directly from the Portal significantly adds to overall operational convenience. Clients also have access to and may download their payment and invoice history. If required, all CDRs for the specified period may be uploaded. For user convenience, the process is carried out in the background and a relevant notice is emailed upon completion.

Client Portal may be modified in accordance with certain individual needs. Portal pages can display carrier’s logo, contact details, or other relevant data (for instance, VoIP hardware parameters).Settings and statistics on voice and/or SMS traffic are made available at the Portal depending on the type of services rendered by the carrier.

New product version also contains considerably revised and enhanced routing functionality. Dynamic trunk selection mechanism integrated into the system enables traffic transfer to the POI with best available Q-factors in cases when vendor network possesses several alternative POIs. For easier administration, routing pattern may now be defined by a route mask. For instance, simple “Mexico, *, mobile” indication would be sufficient to forward entire Mexican mobile traffic to a particular vendor instead of exhaustive enumeration of the routes.

To meet customer requests Alaris inVoice was enhanced with a possibility to limit the number of routes to be returned by each specific routing rule. This option enables considerable reduction of unsuccessful rerouting attempts in cases when it is clear that most routes positioned at the end of the list do not provide the required quality.

Other noteworthy modifications cover invoicing functionality of the solution. Taxation rates may now be accounted for at the stage of invoice generation. Resulting invoice would contain price excluding tax, tax amount and gross amount. Another added option is displaying invoice amount in currency distinct from the currency of invoice generation. For example, total amount in local currency may also be presented in a US dollar invoice.

All in all more than 30 major modifications have been introduced in Alaris inVoice v.3.3. For more detailed information please contact Alaris Labs at sales@alarislans.com.
