The First Tee of the Triangle Hosts the Dennis Walters Golf Show and Free Junior Clinic Aug. 24

Local Youth Development Organization Announces Golf Show and Clinic for Golfers Ages 5 to 17

Durham, NC, August 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The First Tee of the Triangle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf, has announced that it will host the Dennis Walters Golf Show and a free junior golf clinic on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hillandale Golf Course, located at 1600 Hillandale Road. A member of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Hall of Fame, Walters travels the country performing shows of spectacular golf tricks, such as hitting precise shots using bizarre items like fishing rods and cell phones as clubs. His show also features tricks by his dog, Bucky.

Following the one-hour golf show, The First Tee participants, ages 5 to 17, are invited to partake in a free golf clinic. Registration for the event is available here.
