Oconomowoc, WI, September 09, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Nurse and budding entrepreneur Pat Karsten, recently kicked off her third year as owner of Karsten Baskets, an upscale gift presentation service she runs from her home in southeast Wisconsin. “It was a small world after all” for this local business woman compliments of her blossoming website: www.KarstenBaskets.com
Assistant Professor of Communications at Bond University in Australia, Marilyn Mitchell, PhD. recently searched out the local gift service on a national gift store directory website. Looking for a local business able to provide a unique birthday presentation, Professor Mitchell said after the sale, “Thank you for organizing the basket to send to my mother. It is beautiful and cheerful and I loved the kangaroo idea! Very clever of you.” It was the click of a mouse and the universal desire to gift; what Karsten Baskets call “For All Your Gifting Moments”, which culminated into a win, win scenario for both the professor and Karsten Baskets.
And while a computer took the hassle out of shopping for one client, reliable word of mouth and a business card in an old fashioned rolodex proved to be the catalysis for Karsten Baskets first upscale corporate event. Kimberly Wacker, Director of Marketing and Business Development, Spancrete Group, Inc. Waukesha, WI contracted with Karsten Baskets for a “dramatic presentation”. The high end baskets were raffled off at a prestigious Hartland country club golf outing event August 27th. Donations of Packer tickets, an assortment of exquisite red and white wines, and a leather humidor with imported cigars were just a few of the great items displayed. “The baskets turned out better than anticipated. You did a wonderful job and everyone enjoyed them. I look forward to working with you again in the future. All the best and again, thank you for a wonderful job.” said Kimberly. See cigar aficionado.
When not creating gift baskets, Pat is an accomplished full time nurse, skilled in service excellence with Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
