English Poker Open 2013 Postponed Until 2014

London, United Kingdom, September 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Rakeback specialist RakeTheRake today announced that the English Poker Open 2013 is to be postponed until next year. The tournament which was to be held in London from 27th to 29th September at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City will now take place in 2014 due to unforeseen scheduling issues this year.

Amanda Georgeson, Marketing Director at RakeTheRake said, “It was a difficult decision to postpone the EPO, but on balance we decided it was the right choice; to ensure players at the event have a top quality tournament experience, as they have come to expect from the English Poker Open brand.”

Reigning champion from the 2012 tournament is Danishman Mickey Petersen who took the top prize of £78,660 and now holds on to his title until 2014.

Once rescheduled, The English Poker Open 2014 will be announced on the English Poker Open website in 2014, along with full event details, travel, accommodation and promotion information.

Established in 2009, the EPO is one of Europe's most vibrant poker tournaments, and a showcase for live poker in England.
