Dallas, TX, September 05, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- MarketScout, the national electronic insurance exchange and specialty MGA headquartered in Dallas, Texas, today announced further expansion of its nationwide specialty high-net-worth underwriting and brokerage practice with the addition of Daniela Pelligrinelli-Finch as national managing director of admitted markets. Ms. Finch was formerly a managing director of PCIG, the wholesale operation owned by Celedinas, a large high-net-worth retail broker in Southern Florida. She will be responsible for further developing MarketScout’s admitted market operations and will work with the MarketScout non-admitted underwriting team to develop new business opportunities.
Richard Kerr, CEO of MarketScout, commented, “We are very focused on further expansion of our Private Client Services practice. The high-net-worth space requires intense technical expertise. The barriers to entry are considerable because of the limited talent base and need for exceptional market relations. Daniela brings a wealth of experience, solid market relationships, and a stellar reputation amongst the retail agent network. We are lucky to have her as part of the team.”
MarketScout is devoting significant resources to the private client space as demonstrated by several notable high profile hires in the last two months. Additionally, MarketScout has founded the Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC) in cooperation with ACE, AIG, and Fireman’s Fund. Over 100 specialty high-net-worth retail agents and additional insurers such as Lexington, Lloyd’s of London and Ironshore have also joined the CIPC.
