Chicago Bulls Forward Erik Murphy joins inRecruit so that inRecruit’s youth athletes can contact for Erik Murphy advice and information while going through the recruiting process.
Chicago, IL, September 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Erik Murphy, NBA forward with the Chicago Bulls, has joined the inRecruit sports network.
“I believe inRecruit will help change the lives of kids that might not have otherwise been found by college programs,” said Erik Murphy, NBA guard with the Chicago Bulls.
“Erik Murphy will be a great resource for youth athletes on inRecruit as he and his younger brother Alex (Duke) went thru the Division I recruiting process just recently,” said former NBA player and inRecruit co-founder Malik Allen.
Erik Murphy’s brother Alex, who was one of the top rated basketball recruits in the class of 2011, is currently a sophomore at Duke. Erik’s father Jay Murphy was a standout college basketball player for Boston College and then played 67 NBA games over four years from 1984 to 1988. He later would play in Europe including in France and Italy before retiring in 1995. And Murphy’s wife Päivi played professionally in Sweden and for the Finnish national team.

Murphy was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 2013 NBA Draft.
