A Christmas Story House & Museum Night at Progressive Field

Brian Jones, Owner of A Christmas Story House & Museum, to throw out first pitch wearing bunny suit.

Cleveland, OH, September 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- In conjunction with the A Christmas Story 30th Anniversary Celebration, the Cleveland Indians are hosting A Christmas Story House & Museum night at Progressive Field. The Cleveland Indians play their last home game of the regular season against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 7:05pm.

Brian Jones, Owner of A Christmas Story House & Museum, has been invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. While being watched by a stadium full of diehard A Christmas Story fans, Jones will attempt to throw a 99 mph fastball over home plate, wearing an exact reproduction of the Bunny Suit that Ralphie received from Aunt Clara.

Tickets can be purchased via a special link posted on www.AChristmasStoryHouse.com, using promotional code CHRISTMAS. For each ticket purchased through the unique link/code, the Cleveland Indians will graciously donate $1 to the A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project.

A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project is a non-profit foundation established to restore and maintain the neighborhood surrounding A Christmas Story House & Museum for future generations to experience and enjoy. The foundation provides grants, both public and private, to projects that enhance and preserve the surrounding neighborhood. A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project works with and is assisted by Tremont West Development Corporation. Tremont West is a non-profit organization that works to serve over 9000 residents as well as over ninety small businesses with community building, neighborhood infrastructure improvements, home maintenance and repair and events planning and management.
