DataArt Builds Assessment Management System for CACHE as a Key Enabler to Data Migration

New York, NY, September 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- DataArt, a custom software development company that builds advanced solutions for select industries, announced the completion of a new assessment management system for CACHE, Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education, as a key step towards migrating learner data to a single operating system for awarding UK qualifications in various care sectors.

CACHE collaborated with DataArt to enhance its existing IT systems for managing and organizing the high quality assessments it provides to determine if care specialists should be awarded qualifications. In less than six months, DataArt developers created a secure web application that manages the large quantities of data involved in the CACHE assessment process, including examinations taken by the individuals participating in the assessments.

The infrastructure at CACHE was upgraded to efficiently integrate with third party applications, ensuring that the assessment management system can continue to be seamlessly updated and evolve with big data scalability demands. DataArt developers worked closely with the IT team at CACHE to develop an assessment management system based on user needs, providing full transparency of status and design throughout the transition.

"We have been impressed with DataArt’s approach, responsiveness and turn-around times. Our user team was involved in the development over a series of two-week sprints followed by UAT and this led to real ownership, high levels of involvement and commitment to the project,” said Mike Partridge, CACHE Director of Customer Service. “DataArt’s offer of a post-development Usability Study was unexpected but very welcome. In conclusion, working with DataArt has been a very positive experience for our organization and we look forward to having them as an ongoing technology partner.”

DataArt used some of the most advanced technologies on the project, including SQL Server Reporting Services, Twitter Bootstrap and most recent Microsoft technology stack, and implemented a single sign-on with STS Server Thinktecture and Microsoft Windows Identity Foundation.

“We’re committed to providing efficient solutions for our clients and helping them advance as data and technology demands change,” said Dmitry Bagrov, Head of DataArt UK. “We worked closely with CACHE to bring a new level of technology efficiency to their assessment management process that seamlessly integrates with current IT infrastructure and updates as data needs evolve. It’s our goal to become a long-term partner with our clients, helping them elevate as their business needs grow.”
