Addison Homes, a green builder in Greenville, SC, presents "Zero-ing In On Extreme Energy-Efficiency." This consumer-friendly seminar on Zero Net Energy construction takes place at the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show.

Greenville, SC, September 21, 2013 --( Addison Homes is a featured exhibitor in the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show, which runs Sept. 27-29 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville.

Presented by the Home Builders Association of Greenville, the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show focuses on “Inspiring Ideas” while showcasing the latest products/services for inside and outside the home as well as activities such as educational seminars and children’s workshops. Exhibitors include professional builders, remodelers, specialty contractors and vendors of a wide variety of home-related goods.

Along with exhibiting at Booth #355, Addison Homes President Todd Usher will present “Zero-ing In On Extreme Energy-Efficiency: Come Home to $0 Utility Bills” on Friday at 4:30pm, Saturday at 11:30am and Sunday at 2:30pm in the Seminar Room adjacent to Aisle 100. This consumer-friendly seminar is focused on intriguing new developments in Zero Net Energy construction. ZNE homes are designed to create as much energy as they use – so over the course of a year, your net utility costs equal $0.

Addison Homes – a company that builds and certifies 100% of its homes to rigorous Energy Star®, EarthCraft House™ and/or DOE Challenge Home standards – is building Greenville’s first mainstream, affordable Zero Net Energy home in Trailside, a new neighborhood adjacent to Greenville’s Swamp Rabbit Trail. The company will have staff available throughout the Home & Garden Show to discuss energy-efficient construction.

Fall Southern Home & Garden Show hours are Friday, noon-8pm; Saturday, 10am-8pm; and Sunday, 1-6pm. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and free for children under 12. For more Home & Garden Show details, call (864) 254-0133 or visit
