West Palm Beach, FL, September 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation, Jonah’s Place, Inc., announces its official launch. Jonah’s Place, Inc. is actively involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless and injured animals in Central Palm Beach County, Florida and is preparing for expansion.

In addition to helping domestic animals in central Palm Beach County, Jonah’s Place, Inc. is in the process of developing an Animal Assisted Therapy program which will benefit emotionally at risk children in South Florida. The final development phase of this unique not-for-profit includes a Sanctuary for homeless and abandoned animals that will also serve as an Animal Assisted Therapy Center which will greatly benefit the community and its youth.

“Children are our future and it is our responsibility to help them thrive, not just survive. We believe that Jonah’s Place will offer the next generation of our community the opportunity to do just that. We will use animals in need of love and a home as a therapy tool and pass hope on to those that need it most,” said Michelle Brockman, President of Jonah’s Place, Inc.

Jonah’s Place, Inc. is currently fundraising for the Sanctuary and Therapy Center and anticipates final phase completion within three years. “Our mission is to inspire a new generation to extend their hands and reach down to pull others up when they need help the most – to show them that you are truly living when you are freely giving,” says Brockman.
