Reliance Worldwide Takes the Bite Out of Cold Water for War Hero on "Homeward Bound" on Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV

Company teams up with Designing Spaces for “Project Homeward Bound” makeover series to provide Disabled War Veteran and his family more usable hot water.

Pompano Beach, FL, September 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Reliance Worldwide will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ airing on Lifetime TV in the second episode of “Designing Spaces of Hope -- Project Homeward Bound” on Thursday, September 26th at 7:30 am (ET/PT). The 3-part series airs on Lifetime TV on September 25-27 at 7:30 am (ET/PT).

“Project Homeward Bound” shows the step-by-step transformation of a run-down foreclosed-on home into a upgraded, safer and more energy efficient one for injured soldier Private First Class Jeff Taylor and his family, who lived in a cramped mobile home facing daily struggles until Designing Spaces™ and their valued partners like Reliance Worldwide teamed up to renovate the house.

Jeff Long and Mike Ventimiglia from Reliance were on hand at the Taylor house undergoing renovation to help install a new water heater with Tank Booster from Cash Acme which provides double the amount of usable hot water, prevents bacteria growth, protects against scalding as well as other benefits. The water heater will be installed using the SharkBite plumbing tool which allows the DIYer to join pipe without needing a torch and solder, clamps or glue.

“We’re so glad that Reliance Worldwide came on board to help us out in this inspiring series. With a family of five, the Taylor family will really appreciate knowing they have that extra boost of hot water so no-one gets caught in the cold,” said Lysa Liemer, Executive VP of Programming and Chief Operating Officer, Designing Spaces™ airing on Lifetime.
